Libraries

I was the official blogger for Cityread London, a London libraries festival project. http://www.cityreadlondon.org.uk/. Each year the whole of London is encouraged to read a particular book through a series of events and workshops.

The British Library asked me to run workshops for primary school children in connection with their children’s poetry exhibition ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Bat.’

I was writer in residence for the London borough of Camden in association with Spread the Word and Camden Libraries. As part of this, I edited and contributed to the anthology ‘Postcards from Leather Lane’ as well as an installation at the British Museum created by local people.

I ran creative writing workshops in libraries in Lewisham and the Horniman Museum using their ‘The Body Adorned’ exhibition as inspiration. This was part of Out of My Window, a project for Spread The Word and Lewisham Libraries.
