I have been a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Goldsmiths, University of London.
I have been an associate lecturer at Goldsmiths teaching general writing seminars for their MA in creative and life writing.
I have been a lecturer at the University of Westminster. I taught ‘Language and the Imagination’ as part of ‘Writing The City’, a creative writing MA course which uses the city of London as inspiration. This includes prose, poetry and creative non-fiction.
I have taught ‘Contemporary Contexts’ at Goldsmiths as part of the MA course in creative and life writing as well as ‘Creating the Text’, a third year BA course on all aspects of creative writing, including novels, short stories, life writing and poetry.
I have been a lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University where I taught a third year BA course entitled ‘Storytelling, Poetry and Performance.’
I have given guest lectures at the Foundation for International Education in London
I was invited by the British Council to give a lecture at the National University of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City.
As part of World Words Reader with the British Council, I ran workshops as well as giving lectures at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
